When my husband and I were planning our honeymoon, we quickly decided that our dream honeymoon would be on a secluded tropical beach somewhere with beautiful blue waters and soft white sandy beaches. Turns out, thousands of other couples think the same way. The Caribbean and the beaches of Mexico are probably the most frequented locations by honeymoons throughout the world. But for some couples, the beach isn’t all that appealing, and they’d rather enjoy a totally different kind of setting. Maybe it’s snow covered mountains, or deep into a scenic and nature filled forest with some private honeymoon cabins that couples can take advantage of. So if you haven’t considered this type of a honeymoon vacation, then why not look into the possibility of honeymoon cabins? They may be more affordable and enjoyable than you might think.

Honeymoon Cabins are Unique

As I mentioned before, it seems that most couples set out for a view of the wide open sea on a tropical beach side honeymoon at a resort with hundreds of other couples.It may get a little bit old to have the same kind of honeymoon that every other couple will be planning…a little overdone perhaps.

Maybe you want to go on a different kind of honeymoon than the rest of your friends and family have done, and honeymoon cabins could be just the ticket for you.

Honeymoon Cabins are Private

Another great thing I loved about honeymoon cabins is all of that wonderful privacy!! You’ve spent the last few weeks before your wedding running everywhere and talking to people, why not just take some private time for yourself and not have to worry about the noisy couple next door at your resort? The resort for our honeymoon was quiet and pretty secluded, but it seemed there were always hotel personnel knocking on our door to bring us honeymooner’s gifts. Which is nice, but not at multiple various times during the day.

Honeymoon Cabins can be Anywhere

While most honeymoon cabins you’ll find to rent may be deep in a scenic forest or other nature scene, it is also possible to rent honeymoon cabins on the water as well. My husband and I did look into this for our honeymoon, to have a private beach side villa - but the funds just weren’t there at the time.  But don’t assume that the only place you can get a private honeymoon cabin is to go to the forest. No way.

Finding Honeymoon Cabins

There are several sites on the Internet that can help you locate some private honeymoon cabins in scenic parts of the United States, such as in the Carolinas or Tennessee. If these locations aren’t interesting to you, then you can always find locations through your local travel agent, or by researching hotels in your desired honeymoon location. Plus, don’t always expect to pay much more than you would with a typical room at a resort. You can find some great deals for honeymoon cabins during all times of the year if you start early.

Renting a honeymoon cabin is a great way to get some privacy and add a little romance to your honeymoon. Plus one of the real benefits of a nice honeymoon - they are excellent places to relax and unwind from all of that wedding planning and running around that you had to do. So, if you are looking at staying in the United States for your honeymoon, then it might be a good idea to consider looking into honeymoon cabins for your stay.
